Tim Soelberg
Family Service Counselor
I grew up throughout Clark County, spending different chapters of my life in Brush Prairie, Hazel Dell, La Center, and Orchards. Each place shaped my sense of community and deepened my connection to this region. Later, I had the opportunity to live in Indiana for six years, and during that time I developed an even greater appreciation for the Pacific Northwest—the place I’ve always called home.
I’ve always been a hands‑on person at heart. Whether I’m working on home improvement projects or changing the oil in our family cars, I enjoy the satisfaction of fixing and creating things. When my wife and I can get away, we love escaping to the beach, and we try to take a family trip to a Disney resort each year.
A close friend encouraged me to explore this profession several years ago, believing it would be a natural fit. He was right. This work can be some of the most challenging I’ve ever done, but it is also the most meaningful. Supporting families during one of the hardest moments of their lives—and giving them the space to grieve without added stress or uncertainty—is an honor I don’t take lightly.
I believe that planning ahead is one of the greatest, most selfless gifts you can give your loved ones. I am truly grateful each time a family entrusts us with their care or the care of someone they love.
