Mary Ann Pearson

Mary Ann Pearson, 88, was born Jan. 3, 1929, in Garibaldi, Ore., and died Feb. 20, 2017, at her Longview home.

She celebrated 51 years of marriage to Arnold G. Pearson Feb. 18. Together they raised four children, Jim (B.J.) in Deary, Idaho, and Jeff (Peggy), Julie (Warren) and Jay, all in Longview.

Mary Ann graduated from R.A. Long High School and attended Lower Columbia College. In addition to being a wife and mother, Mary Ann taught swimming at Hill's Pool in Long Beach and was a clerk at Wilcox and Flegel. She enjoyed her eight grandchildren and many great- and great-great-grandchildren.

A memorial service is planned for 11 a.m. March 11 at Steele Chapel at Longview Memorial Park. A reception will follow in the Hospitality Room.
