Gerald Rogers

It is with great sadness that we share the sudden death of our husband/father/stepfather, Jerry Rogers on June 10, 2026. At 87 years young, Jerry leaves behind his loving wife (Faith) of 32 years. Jerry is preceded in death by his parents, brother and sister and leaves behind his son (Gerald Rogers Jr.), stepdaughters Erica Kiil and Renee Reeves, grandchildren (Brad Gatter, Lexi Kiil and Donovan Reeves), numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

As a 40+ year employee at SeaFirst Bank, Jerry and Faith worked together as acquaintances. When SeaFirst was acquired by Bank of America they survived the transition, but after 15 years of working together, they were let go during a reduction in workforce. Newly unemployed, they bonded as friends, leading them to marriage and a long relationship that lasted over 45 years.

After retirement, Jerry and Faith moved from the Puget Sound area to Vancouver, WA After purchasing a Class C camper, they camped all over Washington with their cat Seika. While camping, they discovered their love of travel and began snow-birding in Mesa, Arizona and cruising all over the world. Their favorites being Scandinavia and South and Central America; seeing Easter Island and going through the Panama Canal were highlights of their travels.
