Benjamin Venida Lamadrid

Benjamin V. LaMadrid, 93, of Longview, passed away March 24, 2022, at home.

He was born Sept. 15, 1928, in Quezon, Philippines, to Victor and Simeona (Venida) La Madrid. He moved to the local area 38 years ago, and enjoyed fishing the area’s rivers and lakes.

Benjamin is survived by his wife, Rosalinda La Madrid at home; a son and daughter-in-law, Neri and Veasna La Madrid of Everett, Wash.; three granddaughters, Margaux La Madrid of Longview, Cassandra Strunk of West Linn, Ore., and Aliza La Madrid of Everett; and a great-grandson, Xander Strunk of West Linn.

A rosary will be held at 10:30 a.m. followed by a memorial mass Wednesday, March 30 at St. Rose Catholic Church.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Steele Chapel at Longview Memorial Park.
