Betty Ann Sholtys

Betty Ann Sholtys, 65, of Longview passed away Nov. 2, 2021.
She was born Jan. 24, 1956, to Willie and Odello (Morkert) Dixon.
Betty was a member of the Kelso Eagles, the Senior Center and ILWU Retirees. She enjoyed knitting, weekend drives, paint-by-number kits, butterflies, hummingbirds, and attending concerts. She went to the Oregon Jamboree County Music Festival in Sweet Home, Ore., every year for the past 29 years.
She is survived by her husband of 27 years, Robert W. Sholtys at home; a brother, Bill Dixon of Longview; a sister, Tammy Donavan of Hoquiam, Wash.; three sons, Daniel Ekman of Longview, Mark Ekman in California, and Eric Byman of Tacoma; and eight grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Wilma Garcia.
Cremation will take place under the direction of Steele Chapel at Longview Memorial Park. No service is scheduled at this time.
