April 19th, 1941 – January 20th, 2022
Barbra Ann Blankenship (Bobbie) passed away at home January 20th, 2022, after a brief battle with metastic lung cancer. Born April 19th, 1941, in Rice Lake WI. She was the oldest daughter of George and Ann Demers.
She lived in Rice Lake after graduating from Rice Lake High School and then later went to Beauty School. Her two sons and daughter were born, and she then followed her Mom, Dad, Sister Nancy and brother in-law John out to Kalama WA. Later she moved north and lived in Seattle, Renton, Graham and then back down South to Longview. While living in Longview she attended the Trinity Lutheran Church.
She loved to Crochet, Knit, Sew and do other arts and crafts. While in Renton she was also on a Bowling League which she enjoyed very much. She also enjoyed playing games and doing puzzles on her computer especially with her Sister Nancy. She was also the family barber and Beautician for other Family and friends. She worked as Bookkeeper, Office Assistant, Park Manager and eventually Retired from Fred Myers in Graham.
She is survived by her sons Monte (Theresa) the eldest, Tim (Chris) and daughter Teri, along with her older brother George (Sam) DeMars, younger brother Doug Demars and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was proceeded in Death by her parents and Sister Nancy.
